Me
What an API key is - its organisation, project, and whether it writes - checked before naming any end user.
GET /v1/meSays what the key in Authorization is. It names no end user, so a client can check a key before it has
one: the n8n credential's Test and memory.me() in the Python SDK both call it. Makes no model call.
